Dallas Days Christmas Home Decoration Contest -Deadline for Registration is November 27th
Do you decorate your home for the holidays? If so, consider entering this special Bicentennial contest.
Two main categories: Whole House & Front Door. Judging criteria include Originality, Arrangement, Best Theme, Over-all Presentation, Best Neighborhood, and Front Door Decorating.
Deadline for entry is Monday, November 27th. Judging will take place December 4th-6th by the Back Mountain Bloomers. Winners will be announced during the December 9th Old-Fashioned Christmas Tree Lighting.

Dallas Days/Dallas Harvest Festival Student Food Drive
On Friday, November 17th, a Dallas Township municipal truck will visit the Dallas Schools for a special one-day "Fill the Truck" Food Drive. This event will be conducted in cooperation with the Dallas Harvest Festival Committee and Bicentennial Committee. Donations of non-perishable food items will go to the Back Mt. Food Pantry.
Items to be collected should include:
Canned goods, pastas, cereals, pasta sauces, condiments like ketchup and mustard, fruit cups, bottled water, granola bars, etc. Any donation, no matter how small or large, will be appreciated!
The truck will be at the following locations and times:
Wycallis: 9-10 a.m.
Dallas Middle School: 10 a.m.-noon
Dallas Elementary: Noon-1 p.m.
Dallas High School: 1-3 p.m.
Dallas Days Community "Fill the Truck" Food Drive
On Friday, December 1st, come to the Dallas Township Municipal Building and "Fill the Truck" with non-perishable food items for the Back Mt. Food Pantry. The holidays are upon us - it's time to give back to the community, to those less fortunate than ourselves. Help our community come together in a big way to help others! The Dallas Township municipal truck will be on-site all day, 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Let's "Fill the Truck"!
